Union Gap has many locally owned, yet regionally famous eateries to explore.  Here are just a few:

Jean’s Cottage Inn:  Since 1946 Jean’s Cottage Inn has been serving quality food to the Yakima Valley locals,  but visitors from all over make this a must-stop when visiting the area. 

Old Town Station:  A family owned restaurant for over 30 years!  A local favorite with old fashioned service and hospitality. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Sea Galley:  Locally owned and the last surviving restaurant of a once well known Northwest seafood chain.  “We Got Crab Legs, Sea Galley.”

New York Terryaki:  Starting with this original restaurant, this Yakima Valley favorite now has locations all over the valley.  Great sushi!

El Porton:  Authentic Mexican cuisine just like what you’d expect when coming to the Yakima Valley!

Pepp’rmint Stick Drive-In:  Established in the 1940’s, Pepp’rmint Stick Drive-in is billed as Central Washington’s “Original” Old Fashioned Burgers, Fries, Shakes and Ice Cream.

Los Hernandez Tamales:  Order by mail if you’d like but its best that you visit, just like people from all over the country. Taste what’s been called the best Tamales north of the border.   Watch a recent story on Seattle’s KING 5 TV’s Northwest Backroads for proof! 

Miner’s Drive-In :  Known all over the Northwest for their burgers and shakes.  Sports teams playing in the Yakima Valley always stop here on the way home, its a tradition.  Fans of Miners  from all over the world say it best on the Miners Facebook site.

Fruit City:  A huge, open-air fresh fruit and vegetable stand right on Main Street.  A must stop to stock up on fresh Yakima Valley produce!
